Important: When shipping your BCM and Pump please ensure you package it properly. Place the BCM and pump together in a thick plastic bag to prevent fluid from leaking into the packaging. If the fluid leaks and saturates the box, this will cause the box to break and could cause delays or even possible loss of the module when shipping into our facility. Because the part is heavy, we recommend packaging with lots of protection (bubble wrap, packaging peanuts, etc) to avoid any movement in the box. Not following these instructions could result in additional fees, damages, or even loss of the part. It is the sole responsibility of the shipper if any of these events occur when sending the part to XeMODeX.
This is a Repair and Return service of your existing module. You will need to remove and send your module to us for repair using the shipping labels provided to you.
The order will be processed during our regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 – 5:00 EST). After processing your order, we will email shipping labels and shipping instructions. If you don’t see shipping labels within 1 hour of submitting your order (during business hours) please first check your junk/spam folders. If you still don’t see the labels, please contact us at 1-888-712-2525
Features:
Plug & Play: The software and settings will not be modified, making this module plug and play. No software reload or calibration is required after installation.
Quick Turnaround: Your module will be tested, repaired, tested again, and sent back to you on the same day (unless otherwise noted).
Thermal Cooling Upgrade: All BCMs include an anodized aluminum cover to help dissipate heat and lower the MCU’s operating temperature.
Non-Destructive Case Opening: A special press is used to separate the plastic ABS case. The factory seams are preserved. Once reassembled the module is fully sealed. No cut or oozing silicon.
Completely Reworked PCB: All internal circuit boards are tested at the component level. Any known prone-to-failure parts that are close to the maximum tolerance are automatically replaced.
Quality Tested: All our ABS modules undergo rigorous tests on our specialized custom-built CAN-bus driven testbed. All functions, DTCs, and software are checked and verified for proper operation.
100% Fix Guarantee: In rare cases, your brake control module may not be repairable. In these cases, we can offer a program transfer service to one of our remanufactured BCMs. Additional costs apply. Costs vary depending on the type of traction control in the vehicle. No additional coding will be required. Plug and Play.
Lifetime Limited Warranty: This module comes with our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Please see here for more information.

FAQ
FAQ
What goes wrong with this Brake Control Module?
These modules are prone to overheating, which damages components over time which can result in loss of network communication and the module becoming unresponsive. This is just one example of the importance of proper heat dissipation.
Other common failures include damaged pump drivers and CAN-Bus controllers.
What is improved?
We have designed and built a custom heat sink and incorporated the design into a large aluminum cover made from anodized aluminum. The powder coated surface provides excellent resistance to harsh chemicals, especially highly corrosive brake fluid. In our final tests we were able to reduce the processors operating temperature by 20 percent which is a remarkable accomplishment considering it’s mounted in a hot engine compartment. Together, with high quality silicone replacement components used, you can rest assured that our BCM will last throughout the life of your vehicle, and we guarantee it with a Lifetime Limited Warranty!
What goes wrong with the pump?
As the brushes wear they create carbon dust that keeps building up inside the pump motor. This dust is conductive and has consistency of a fine powder. Excessive amounts of it will interfere with proper motor operation. Since the pump is controlled directly by the BCM module, all the excessive current draw is absorbed by the module’s circuitry. In most cases the solid state pump driver inside the module fails as a result.
