This is a Module Reprogramming Service. You will need to send your used module to us, using the shipping labels provided to you. You don’t need to ship the original module to us.
Used and your original module must have matching part numbers.
The order will be processed during our regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 – 5:00 EST). After processing your order, we will email shipping labels and shipping instructions. If you do not see shipping labels within 1 hour of submitting your order (during business hours) please first check your junk/spam folders. Plug & Play: No software reload will required after installation. Incase of the EBCM the calibration will be required.

Q. What type of vehicles is this module reprogramming for?
A. Module programming is available for 2005-2025 GM vehicles such as: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC Trucks.
Q. What type of modules can you reprogram?
A. Currently, we are offering programming for the following GM modules:
BCM – Body Control Module
CCM – Chassis Control Module/Fuel Pump Module
EBCM – Electronic Brake Control Module
ECM – Engine Control Module
TCM – Transmission Control Module
Q. What exactly is the module reprogramming?
A. When the original module fails in your vehicle and needs to be replaced. The replacement module must be reprogrammed to match your car. This involves programming the software as well as a new Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the replacement module.
Q. Can XeMODeX reprogram a used module to work in my car?
A. Yes, we can reprogram the software and the VIN number in a previously used module.
Q. Is there anything I should know before I purchase a used module?
A. Yes, first make sure that the part number on the module is the same as on your original part. Second, ask for a warranty terms.
Q. Do I need to send in my existing original module along with the used one?
A. No, we do not need your existing module for anything.
Q. Is there anything I need to do after I install a reprogrammed unit?
A. In most cases some modules will require a relearning/calibration procedure. For example, ECM will require throttle adaptation and EBCM will need SAS calibration. These functions can only be performed once the module is installed in the vehicle.
Q. How can I calibrate my module?
A. Most automotive scan tools have this function available. Otherwise, any repair shop in your neighborhood can perform this procedure for you.
Q. How do I send my used module to you?
A. Simply purchase this module reprogramming service online or by calling 1-888-712-2525 and we will email the shipping labels to you. We are open Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm EST.

How This Service Works
Step 1: Purchase our service online or over the phone.
Step 2: After processing your order, we will email you pre-paid shipping labels.
Step 3: Send us your used unit by dropping off the package to any UPS location or call UPS to schedule a pick- up.
Step 4: We will reprogram your used module.
Step 5: We will send you back the repaired module the same day (unless otherwise stated).
Step 6: You install the unit back into your vehicle.
