  • God morning I have a Volvo XC90 2004 mod and I have problem the radio navigation end the phone is not working wait I to do best regards Hamm Germiani

    • Hi Hamma,
I spoke with our tech and he said you will need to have the car scanned for fault codes to make sure the fault is with your ICM. Your local Volvo dealer should be able to scan your car for you. We recommend that they perform a ring break test on the fibre optic system. If the fault is with the ICM, then we can offer you a Repair and Return service for your module.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Have a great day!

      • Hi William,
I spoke to our tech and he has a couple of questions for you to help determine the problem.
        – Does the screen on the ICM light up and then shut off?
        – Have you lost the gauges?
        – Is the climate system affected in any way?

        • Hi
I have the same problem as William
My screen comes on now and then after standing idle for a period of time and then goes off after different time limits.
Gauges don’t seem to be affected.
Climate system does not appear to be affected
Only thing is message for park assist service required comes up sometimes when screen is on but this message has been doing this on and off since I bought the car 4 years ago .

          • Hi Brian,
I spoke to our tech, Matt, and he said you should try and push on the screen to see if there is a connection issue in the wiring. If this does not resolve the issue, then he said it may be an ICM or other module interfering in the network. You should get the car diagnosed by a Volvo specialist to see if there are any error codes that are stored. Please contact our tech support toll-free at 1-888-712-2525 to speak to our tech specialist. Thank you.

  • Once the ICM is removed, can i still use my car or do i have to wait for the new ICM,if i can ,is there something special to do or i could drive it as it is?

    • Hello,
We highly recommend waiting for the new module to be installed. Do not drive your vehicle if you have not installed the new module as the electronic parts in your vehicle work together on a network. Missing or defective modules may cause interference in the network.

  • My radio starts and stops or stops completely. No other items seem to be affected. I have had the message anti skid service required for 2 years long before the radio starting acting up. I have an xc70 wagon I saved for parts could I swap out the radio portion

  • Hello
I have a 2004 volvo xc90 the problem with my ICM is that I have no menu, when I push the menu key up the playing disk is thrown out of the cd player, I can not configure the infotainment control module

  • Hi Xemodex. So I’m not 100% but I think I have a problem with my ICM I have a 2004 xc90 2.5T with the 3row and the radio control on the back. So the radio works with no problem but the CD changer goes on and off along with the parking sensors. When it everything is working you can read on the display PREMIUM (1st line on display) PERFORMANCE (on 2nd line) SOUND (on the 3rd line). but when the cd and park sensors are not it only shows PERFORMANCE SOUND (2nd and 3red line). Is this an indication of ICM getting bad?
