XeMODeX is an environmentally conscious company that takes an eco-friendly approach to all aspects of our business. As part of APRA (Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association), ­we remanufacture all of our products here at our facility. We believe that reusing used parts is essential for reducing the harmful, toxic by-products that unnecessarily end up in landfills each year. As a consumer, you also avoid paying the eco-fees for new electronic purchases, introduced by Ontario Premier, Dalton McGuinty.

While many companies use harsh chemicals to clean their products, at XeMODeX, we use ultrasonic technology which only requires water and dishwasher detergent.  Although this technology is initially expensive to purchase, it is extremely efficient and economical to operate in the long term.

Our warehouse is equipped with T5, energy-efficient lighting. As part of the design, the lights are fit with mirrors that reflect light downwards, illuminating a larger area while reducing the amount that is wasted. These lights use very little energy and have a much longer lifetime than regular sodium lights. We also reuse shipping material, purchase recycled cardboard boxes, and implement paperless invoicing to save trees.
