Well I will say that your modified ETM was the cure for the surging etc. on the Volvo V70 XC AWD that I purchased from the original owner at 137,000 miles. It did have the yellow ID on it, so this was at least the second electronic throttle module. No OBD2 codes but the tell tails were there!Anyway I had no problems with the removal of the obviously troublesome original and installation of your XeMODeX non contact DAS ETM. I’ve installed your ETM on my 2000 Volvo S70. The change has been incredible. Throttle response is smooth and controlled, perfect really. All hesitation and surging I previously felt has vanished. I purchased a used Ate BCM part # 8671224 out of a 2002 Volvo V70, to replace the failed unit in my vehicle. It functioned properly, but the transplant was rejected by my vehicle's electronics. Dear Chris, the ETM arrived In Sydney Friday afternoon (after the UPS driver very kindly came back to my house because I'd missed him earlier in the day). My wife encouraged me top let you know how satisfied we are with our new ETM unit. Our volvo was running so ruff that I just parked it.
