XeMODeX on the Web

Just a video after installing a Xemodex ETM in my car. Xemodex uses a digital angle sensor that won’t wear out like the factory part. I took my ETM off the car myself and sent it to them to be repaired. This way you do not have to have a software program since the part you are installing was already on your car.

For you all that have been looking for information on how to diagnose your ETM, there’s a great company called XeMODeX. On their website they have a flow chart. What you need to do is go in and pick your model and on [the product page] it will bring up a PDF file that is a nice flow chart on how to diagnose it.

The engine is shown right after installing the re-engineered XeModex ETM on 3/26/12. There seems to be no change. When I disconnect the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) the engine runs smooth. Sometimes it is hard to tell if the surging issue is MAT or ETM. I hope this video helps. I feel better about having the XeModex ETM in the car anyway since I plan on keeping it.

My 2000 Volvo S70 non-turbo started giving me problems with the RPM to the point it wouldn’t accelerate. ETM seemed to be bad. Ordered a replacement from www.xemodex.com with a lifetime warranty. The Xemodex ETM worked like a charm!!! Problem went completely away and performance has been just great. It’s been over a year. The S70 has 136,000 miles already and still no issues.

The Driver Information Module (DIM) a.k.a. Instrument Cluster in my 2003 Volvo XC70 is on the fritz. A new DIM runs $1,500. So, instead, I sent the DIM to Xemodex. Unlike most things on this car, removing the DIM is easy. They fix such things. Their prices include courier to and from your door. The unit works perfectly, although resetting the SRS warning still requires a trip to the dealer.

Trying to discover the cause of some issues I’ve been having with my V70. Replaced the ETM with one from XeMODex and the Mass Air Flow sensor. Runs great now!
